Zhang Zhinan is a distinguished professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, and he also serves as the Deputy Secretary of the School’s Party Committee. He is responsible for courses such as Introduction to Engineering and Scientific Research and Innovative Practice.

Professor Zhang is committed to cultivating students’ moral character and academic competence and has achieved outstanding results in this regard. He has also served in various teaching organizations and has trained a large number of excellent students. Professor Zhang was awarded several prestigious honors, including the second prize of National Teaching Achievement Awards, Shanghai Municipal Talent Award, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Excellent Teaching Award, the title of Top Ten Class Advisors, the first prize of Teaching and Educating Excellence Award (Individual Award), the Best Supervisor Award, Teaching Contribution Award, Public Welfare Contribution Award, and many others.
