*课程简介（Description）

本课程将按照印度的历史发展进程分几个主题介绍印度的文化，包括印度宗教、印度文学、印度艺术和印度哲学等。重点介绍印度教、佛教和耆那教的历史背景，发展历史和主要宗旨；以《罗摩衍那》和《摩诃婆罗多》两大史诗为代表的印度文学作品和迦梨陀娑的诗歌与戏剧；印度古典音乐、舞蹈和电影等艺术形式；以吠檀多派为代表的六派哲学。通过神话故事、视频、小组讨论等方式生动地体认印度文化的各个方面。

*课程简介（Description）

The course mainly introduces Indian culture according to the history of India. It consists of four parts: religion, literature, art and philosophy. The religious part mainly focuses on the background, development and main theme of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The literature is on two epics and Kalidasa’s poems and dramas. The art focuses on classical music, dance and film. The philosophy concerns six schools of Indian philosophy. The course will apply video, myths, and group discussion to make students acknowledge different aspects of Indian culture.
