本课程是面向全校学生的社会科学类通识核心课程。 内容分为四个部分：一是新闻传播与新闻媒介；二是新闻媒介与社会系统；三是新闻媒介与社会发展；四是新闻媒介与国际社会。本课程旨在提高媒介素养、新闻素养和社会素养。具体目标、也是学习要求,包括两方面：1. 深入了解新闻媒介、社会及其相互关系，增加历史眼光和全球视野；2.能系统、辩证地分析新闻媒介和社会，增加批判意识和建构精神，提高新闻媒介利用能力。 This course is a core curriculum of general education in social science, for all students of the university. It contains four parts: journalism and news media, news media and social system, news media and social development, news media and international community. The goal is to improve students` media literacy, news literacy and social literacy, through two concrete objects: 1. to get deeper understanding of news media, society and their relations, meanwhile to improve historical perspective and broaden global vision; 2. get the ability to analysis the news media and society systematically and dialectically, increasing the critique consciousness and spiritual construction spirit, as well as enhancing ability of using news media.
