汉字既是承载传统文化的重要介质，也是属于文化的一部分。文字学自古就是“国学”的基础，是最富于民族特色的核心文化元素。层次有二：一是以文化的观点看汉字，探寻华夏文明对汉字的起源、演变规律、结构方式的作用；一是从文字角度看文化，探究汉字的性质、功能对华夏文明的适应程度及作用，从而判断汉字的发展方向。 主要内容： 1.梳理汉字发展演变史：书体——甲、金、篆、隶、草、行、楷；载体——甲骨、青铜、陶瓦砖、货币、玺印、石刻、简牍、帛、纸； 2.分析汉字承载文化的若干领域：政治、思想、思维、美学元素； 3.形成重要理念、探讨重大问题：网络语言文字、汉字热、汉字数字化、规范化、繁简之争、汉字国际推广、汉字教学。 教学目标： 1.通过系统讲述汉字发展演变史、分层概述汉字承载的数千年中华文明，提升传统文化在当今高等教育中的地位。 2.引导学生树立正确的汉字观，在汉字发展方向及重大问题面前，能够具备正确的是非观和思想倾向。 3.在数字化、全球化的背景下，大力推动现代汉字规范，从理论和根基上，教会学生警醒和反思不规范用字现象，自觉维护汉语言文字的纯洁与健康。 4.通过激发学生对汉字文化的兴趣，使其在接受和传承中华文化中，审美情操和人格素养得以提升。 The Chinese Characters and Culture is a professional required course that faces to Chinese Language and Literature undergraduate.Chinese character has a long history and profound cultural background. The course is composed of two parts: one is we look at Chinese character in cultural perspective, and study the role that Sinic Civilizationbrought to the origin, evolvement rule, and form of Chinese character; the other is we look at cultural in character perspective, and study the adaptation and role that the nature and function of Chinese character brought to the Sinic Civilization, so that we can identifiethe prospects ahead of Chinese character. We attempt to combine characters and culture, so that we can show the essence of Chinese culture at character’s class more comprehensively. Chinese character is an important vehicle and section of Chinese traditional culture. Withthe rapid development of network technology and whole social environment nowadays, the traditional culture in undergraduate education gains worse and worse. The objective of the course is show the essence and charm of Chinese character more comprehensively to the students. Then cultivate and inspiretheir interest, improve the overall quality by absorbing and passing the Sinic Civilization. In addition, they can build up a clear understanding and fixed position of many problems, such as the nature and future development of Chinese character, and set up a right outlook on it.
